Who is HPS for?

The Health Performance Science (HPS) Master is a one-year, 60 ECTS master track corresponding to a second year of study at the master level.

This programme aims to attract talented and higly motivated students intended on pursuing a research career in the field of Sports and Exercise Sciences, either in academics or in applied R&D.

Who can apply?

The HPS master programme is open to students of all nationalities. 

To be eligible for selection to the HPS master programme, candidates must demonstrate the following qualifications: 

  • Have successfully completed a Bachelor’s of Science (BSc) in Sports sciences, or alternatively in Biological or Health Sciences and present sufficient background in physiology and biomechanics
  • Have successfully completed or be currently enrolled in the first year of a Master of Science programme in the above-mentioned fields (Sports science, Health or Biology)
  • Attest to a level of proficiency in English equivalent to the B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR) or demonstrate that you have successfully followed a higher-education degree programme in English.
